faculty photo Dr. Tiffany Wayne is a historian and author of several works in U.S. history, women’s history, and American literary studies. She holds M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in History from the University of California, Santa Cruz. She is a former Affiliated Scholar with the Institute for Research on Women and Gender (now the Clayman Institute) at Stanford University, and a recent Research Fellow at The Huntington Library in San Marino, California. Dr. Wayne’s most recent book, Women’s Suffrage: The Complete Guide to the Nineteenth Amendment was published in 2020, the centennial year of ratification of the amendment to the U.S. Constitution which extended the right to vote to women.
