			Siyuan Chen Senior Assistant Controller Accounting & Financial Reporting Telephone: +1(561) 297-6266 Email: schen2017@fau.edu Siyuan joined the FAU General Accounting department as an Accounting Coordinator in February 2023. Her exceptional performance led to her promotion to Accounting Manager in August 2023, and she was further promoted to Assistant Controller in September 2024. Prior to her role at FAU, she worked as a senior accountant for a public company, where she acquired extensive experience and expertise in general accounting, tax reporting, and financial reporting. Siyuan is currently responsible for general accounting operations and financial reporting at FAU and FAU Financial Corporation. She obtained her Master of Accountancy degree from the University of South Dakota.
			Jessica Sanchez Assistant Controller FAU Finance Corporation & Accounting Support Telephone: +1(561) 297-2035 Email: sanchezjessi2014@fau.edu Jessica joined the FAU General Accounting team in June 2023 and is a proud Owl alumni. Before returning to FAU, she built her career in private accounting, serving as a Senior Accountant where she gained valuable experience in financial reporting and account management. At FAU, Jessica is recognized with proven strengths in account analysis, financial preparation, and guiding others toward success. She is deeply committed to expanding her expertise in the accounting field and plans to sit for the CPA exam in early 2026. Her current responsibilities include overseeing financial operations for the FAU Finance Corporation, Housing, and providing operational support to the FAU community.
			Diana Gonzalez Accounting Manager Telephone: +1(561) 297-4610 Email: dgonzalez@fau.edu Diana joined FAU General Accounting team in January, 2024. Prior to her role at FAU, she was an Accounting Manager in a public firm, where she gained skills in business finance management. Along with experience in healthcare accounting, Diana's passion lies in analyzing, and interpreting account records to compile financial information. She earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Iowa State University. At FAU, her responsibilities include general accounting operations and financial reporting processes.
			Irina Starostina Accounting Coordinator I Email: istarost@fau.edu Irina joined FAU General Accounting team in September, 2023. She has professional accounting experience in both public and private sectors. Prior to her role at FAU, Irina was an auditor at Keefe McCullough & Co CPA where she had experience with non-profit entities, employee benefit plans, and private companies. She is a proud graduate of FAU with a bachelor's degree in business administration majoring in accounting and currently studying for the CPA exams.
			Sondra Andrews Accounting Coordinator I Email: sandrews2012@fau.edu Sondra joined the FAU General Accounting team in August 2024 as an Accounting Coordinator. She is a proud Owl Alumni. Sondra graduated from FAU in December 2022 with a master's degree in business administration. Before her role here at FAU, she gained experience in the public sector working as a Staff Accountant in the real estate and construction industry. As an accountant, she is driven and enthusiastic to gain new knowledge and expand her skills. In the future, she hopes to pursue further studies and become a certified public accountant.
