Accelerated Bachelor’s to Master’s Degree Opportunities
Are you completing your bachelor’s degree and thinking about getting a master’s degree?
Did you know that we offer a Combined Degree program that saves you TIME and MONEY?
How does it work?
- If you are in good standing (3.25 GPA or better), you can apply for the Combined Degree program as you reach your senior year.
- During your senior year, you take up to 9 or 12 credits (3 or 4 courses) at the graduate level that count BOTH toward your bachelor’s degree and your master’s degree.
- You finish your bachelor’s degree as planned (using those graduate credits).
- Then you finish up the remaining courses required to earn your master’s degree. This usually takes about one year. These accelerated opportunities are also called “Pathways.”
We offer the Combined Degree programs for the following pathways:
- Bachelor of Public Management to Master of Public Administration
- Bachelor of Public Management to Master of Nonprofit Management
- Bachelor of Public Safety Administration to Master of Public Administration
- Bachelor of Public Safety Administration to Master of Nonprofit Management
- Bachelor of Arts in Music to Master of Nonprofit Management
- Bachelor of Music (Commercial Music concentration or Performance concentration) to Master of Nonprofit Management
- Bachelor of Arts (Art History concentration or Studio Art concentration) to Master of Nonprofit Management
Please visit the university catalog for more information on any of these pathways.
What are the steps and requirements for applying to a Combined Program?

- The GRE is not required for this special program.
