Purpose: The Professional Development Community Council at the FAU Phyllis and Harvey Sandler School of Social Work is a partnership between the School and leaders across the social work field. Together, we listen to the needs of our professional community, develop meaningful training opportunities that represent the best and latest practices in our profession, and identify dynamic trainers and speakers to deliver the highest quality of professional development training. By building these connections, we expand our reach and impact across the country, ensuring that professional development remains relevant, accessible, and rooted in the real-world experiences of those we serve.
