Pablo Sanabria-Pulido is a public policy and public administration scholar. He holds a Ph.D. in Public Administration and Policy from American University in Washington DC and a Master’s in Public Policy from the London School of Economics (LSE). Dr. Sanabria studies and teaches the design, formulation, and implementation of public policies and the managerial challenges that public service organizations and public officials face, aiming to disentangle how to make public organizations work, particularly at the local level. Most of his research focuses on organizational and individual behaviors. To do so, he relies on a comparative perspective and uses mixed methods, focusing on the context of public affairs in Latin America and the global South. His areas of interest are public management, policy analysis and formulation, comparative public policy and administration, organizational behavior and HR, open government, corruption and transparency, local governance, and public affairs education. Pablo has published his works in key international outlets in the public administration and policy fields and in several books and working papers. He has extensive administrative experience designing and running undergraduate and graduate programs through in-person, online, and blended learning. Also, Dr. Sanabria has served previously in academic and executive positions at different top-ranked universities in Latin America and with the government, private, and nonprofit sectors.
