Academic Opportunities

Sociological associations nationwide hold annual meetings that include a "call for papers". Graduate students are encouraged to submit their papers and/or abstracts and if selected are given the opportunity to present their submissions.

Regarding funding for these trips, please click here to be redirected to FAU's student travel webpage which includes the necessary application to travel as well as an application for a travel award. This travel award may grant up to $800 for out-of-state trips.
