Veronica Stewart is a Visiting Instructor in the School of Communication and Multimedia Studies at FAU where she teaches classes such as Interpersonal Communication, Conflict Communication, Small Group Processes, and Public Speaking. Originally from Davie, Florida, Veronica completed her master's degree in communication and multimedia studies from Florida State University, where she studied body image, interpersonal communication & conflict, and romantic relationships in relation to online behavior and social media. She finished her doctoral degree in Comparative Studies: Culture, Society, & Politics with a focus on Communication and Sociology at FAU. Her research interests have since evolved to focus on gendered crimes, specifically revenge porn and sexual harassment online. She has published research in the academic journal Psychology of Popular Media.
