Minor in Criminal Law
Program Overview
A minor in Criminal Law is open to all undergraduate students at Florida Atlantic. The minor consists of 12 credits, including nine required credits for courses that address topics related to Criminal law, Judicial Administration, Criminal Courts, and constitutional considerations of and cases related to criminal law in Florida. The remaining three elective credits can be obtained by selecting from a range of courses topics related in some way to criminal law.
Note: The CCJ and CJL courses taken to satisfy the requirements of the Criminal Law Minor cannot also be counted toward the requirement of the criminal justice major.
For the Criminal Law Minor, students must complete all three (9 credits) courses listed below. Each course must be completed with a minimum grade of "C." Courses within the minor have no specific required path or order.
