INDUSTRY ADVISORY BOARD

The Industry Advisory Board of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science connects the department with its industry and government partners. Board members are alumni and representatives of the organizations that employ our graduates. Their perspective helps the department understand what industry needs and how well our programs prepare students to meet those needs.

The Board meets twice a year. At each meeting the department chair reports on the state of the department, including academic programs, faculty hiring, and research. Members review the program educational objectives and major curriculum changes, and advise on new courses and emerging topics in existing ones. The Board also advises on outreach, advocacy, and development.
