The College of Engineering and Computer Science at Florida Atlantic University is advancing engineering and computing through research, education, and innovation in areas of national and global importance.

As an AI-first college, we are integrating artificial intelligence across engineering and computer science while expanding capabilities in quantum computing, autonomous systems, cybersecurity, biomedical engineering, intelligent infrastructure, transportation, and ocean engineering. Students learn alongside faculty conducting high-impact research supported by federal agencies, industry, and state partners.

The College is home to leading research centers, institutes, and advanced technology infrastructure spanning AI and autonomy, quantum computing, smart infrastructure, biomedical technologies, mobility, and ocean systems.

Our undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral programs prepare students for rapidly evolving fields, including Florida’s first Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence and interdisciplinary AI + Your Discipline programs that extend AI education across the university.
