Casey Venema+ (Prospera) ) is a graduate student in the MFA Performance program. She hails from Cleveland, Ohio, where she worked as a freelance actor, director, and intimacy director after graduating with a Theatre/Film and Media Studies degree from Bucknell University. FAU credits: Tartuffe (Dorine), Freaky Friday (Danielle), Rumors (Chris Gorman), 1776 (Abigail Adams), Radium Girls (Mrs. Roeder/Madame Curie). Other acting credits: Anything Goes (Reno Sweeney); Sweeney Todd (Pirelli); Jesus Christ Superstar (Pilate); Twelfth Night (Sebastian); White Christmas (Betty Haynes). Liliana Gonzalez (Miranda) is a freshman BFA in Musical Theatre major and is thrilled to be a part of her first FAU production! She was seen in Evermore High (Little Red) as well as Spies are Forever (Tatiana/Lounge singer). This show has been an honor to be apart of and she hopes you enjoy watching it as much as she enjoyed working on it!
Jayden Terrell (Ariel 1) is a sophomore BFA in Performance major and is over the moon about this performance of The Tempest! This is his third production at FAU, seen previously in Tartuffe (Damis) as well as The Possibilities (Various Roles). Jayden would like to thank Ted deChatelet for instilling such a powerful vision of this show in the cast and crew. He would also like to thank Bruce Linser for stepping in and bringing the clarity of this show to a whole new level. Jayden hopes you enjoy the show!!!
Stephanie Bruzon (Ariel 2) is a musician, writer, and actor pursuing a BA in Theatre. Her recent credits include LabRabs at Theatre Lab, Hamlet at Sol Theatre, and Stage Awakenings at The Kravis Center. This is her first show in the department, and she would like to extend gratitude to her director, cast mates, and crew—as well as her family, friends, and audience who are constant, necessary streams of love and inspiration.
Jonathan L. Palmer+ (Caliban) is an MFA Acting student at Florida Atlantic University, where he recently appeared as Tartuffe in Tartuffe. He holds a BA in Drama from Morehouse College. An award-winning spoken word artist, Jonathan especially appreciates the poetic and rhythmic language of Shakespeare. He lovingly dedicates this performance to his mother and father.
Kerwin Cyriaque (Ferdinand) is a sophomore pursuing his B.A. in Theatre. You may have last seen him in FAU’s: Pirates of Penzance (Police), The Frankenstein Project (Percy Shelly), Firebringer (Clark, Puppeteer US), Dances We Dance, and Repertory Dance Theatre Ensemble. Gustavo Garcia+ (Alonso) is a multidisciplinary South Florida theatre artist and 2nd Year MFA candidate with experience in Acting, Directing and Design. Jakari Dozié+ (Sebastian) is a second-year MFA candidate from Miami, Florida. In the spring of 2024, he graduated from Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University (FAMU) with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Performance. During his time at FAMU, he starred in several notable productions, including Calming The Man, Sweet Mama Stringbean, The Waiting Room, Romeo & Juliet: A Miami Love Story, Two Trains Running, and Pipeline. Since attending FAU his credits include The Frankenstein Project, Rumors, Freaky Friday: A New Musical, and Tartuffe.
Lumivel Ramos (Gonzalo) is Junior BA Theatre major, proudly representing St. Lucie County, and is thrilled to be making her Mainstage debut at FAU. She was seen in Evermore High! (Fairy Godmother) as well as The Lightning Thief (Charon, Choreographer). She dedicates this show to her Auntie Michelle and hopes you all enjoy the show!

Kaz Ward (Boatswain, U/S Prospera & Caliban) is a junior BFA
Performance major. They were previously seen at FAU in The Frankenstein Project (Mary Lattimore) and the BUTC's production of Spring Awakening (Fraulein Knuppeldick). Previous credits also include Boeing Boeing (Berthe) and Love's Labour's Lost (Maria). They are beyond grateful to be a part of this production.
Claudia Hammes (U/S Ariel 1&2, Antonio, Sebastian, Stephano, Boatswain) is currently a Sophomore BFA Musical Theatre student with a Dance and a Digital Marketing minor. At FAU she has performed in: Memento with the Jerusalem Ballet Company (The Flower Seller), Tartuffe (Flipote, Understudy: Mariane, Madame Pernelle), The Possibilities- (Various Roles), and the Assistant Choreographer for Firebringer. Other roles include: Little Sally/Urinetown, Ermengarde/Hello Dolly!, Sarah/Company, and Sara/The Theory of Relativity.
Katiana “Kat” Ruggiero (U/S Miranda, Ferdinand, Alonso, Gonzalo, Trinculo) is a Junior BFA in Performance, and this is her second semester at FAU. She was previously in the fall production of The Possibilities (multiple characters). Kat has also been seen in Dearly Departed (Suzanne), Rumors (Claire), 12 Angry Jurors (Juror 11), as well as other productions in Palm Beach County. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Christian Ramos (Stage Manager) is a Second Year BFA in Design and Technical Theatre major and is excited to Stage Manage his first show at FAU. Previously he has worked on Jerusalem Ballet (Light Board Op), Freaky Friday (Props Crew), Rumors (Assistant Stage Manager), The Last Queen of San Domino: Reading (Stage Manager), 1776: The Musical (Props Crew), and Ride The Cyclone (Assistant Stage Manager). Marissa Spurr (Assistant Stage Manager) is a junior BFA Musical Theatre major and is so excited to be assistant stage managing for the first time! She was previously seen in The Pirates of Penzance (Edith) and The Frankenstein Project (Mary Shelley). While she loves being on stage, it's been a wonderful experience to understand the behind-the-scenes action and help the show run like clockwork. She hopes you enjoy The Tempest!
Stavroula Agrafiotis (Assistant Stage Manager) is a sophomore BA majoring in Theatre and is so excited to be in her first ASM position here at FAU! Stavroula has been crew for multiple productions such as 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘐𝘮𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘛𝘢𝘴𝘬 𝘰𝘧 𝘛𝘰𝘥𝘢𝘺 and 𝘛𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘶𝘧𝘧𝘦. She hopes that this play opens your eyes to Shakespeare and hopes you find it captivating!
Jesa Hutson (Hair & Makeup Design, Wardrobe Head) is thrilled to be a part of her 5th show here at FAU. You may have seen her last summer in Freaky Friday (Wells/Caterer) or this fall in The Pirates of Penzance (Police) or seen her work as a dresser in The Frankenstein Project or Tartuffe. She is excited to take on a leadership role this spring and she hopes you enjoy the show!
Roselene Dufresne (Deck Supervisor) is a sophomore BA Theatre major from Lauderhill and is thrilled to be a part of another production at FAU. This will be her fifth mainstage production at FAU since she has worked on The Frankenstein Project (Run Crew), Rumors (Props Crew), Freaky Friday (Follow Spot), and Pirates of Penzance (Follow Spot). She was also ASM for the BUTC’s production of Evermore High and recently elected as the club’s Technical Director. She is excited for you to see the show and hopes you enjoy!
Neveah Metelus (Props Crew) is a senior finishing up her major in Theater and minor in Dance. She is excited to be crewing her 9th show! Her past shows that she’s crewed in were: Peter and the Star-catcher (Dresser), Xanadu (Follow Spot), Firebringer (Hair + Makeup/Dresser), Radium Girls (ASM), The Frankenstein Project (Props Crew), Freaky Friday (Light Board Op), Tartuffe (Wardrobe Head), and The Possibilities (Stage Manager). Sadie Scardino (Crew) is a sophomore in BFA Musical Theatre major with a minor in dance here at FAU. She’s originally from Naples, Florida and has been involved in theater for over 16 years. Her other FAU credits include The Frankenstein Project (Fredricka Jones), Dances We Dance (dancer and choreographer), and The FAU Musical Theater Vocal Ensemble. Jamie Levesque (Light Board Operator) is a sophomore BFA in Design and Technology major at Florida Atlantic University and is stoked to be a part of her fourth production. She was seen in 1776 (Light Board Operator), Tartuffe (Sound Operator) and The Possibilities (Lighting Designer). Previous Credits include Boeing Boeing, The Addams Family, and Almost,Maine (Lighting Designer). Jamie would like to thank her friends for their support!

Devyn Llewellyn (Stitcher) is a senior BFA Performance major and has the pleasure of working her fifth performance here at FAU. She has worked in Rumors (wardrobe head), 1776 (assistant wardrobe head), Pirates of Penzance (Hair & Makeup), and Freaky Friday (Dresser). She's so excited for everyone to see the show!
Adler Monpremier (Usher) is a sophomore BA in Theatre major and is so excited to be a part of The Tempest at FAU. Normally an actor his last few credits include The Rocky Horror Show (Phantom), Sweeney Todd (Ensemble), 42nd Street (Ensemble), and The Hunchback of Notre Dame (Frollo). Lukah Meirelles (Crew) is a senior at FAU and majoring in Theater B.A. He's excited to be run crew for the production of The Tempest.
