Automated Metadata Content Tagging

Overview

Automated Metadata Content Tagging applies machine learning and artificial intelligence for contextual generation of descriptive metadata, for educational and learning content. It handles multiple forms of educational content, with a focus on documents and videos. The system is able to generate a table of contents, as well as document and video summaries.  Example usage includes videos and documents related to ship handling. A database and an application frontend are used to search and access tagged content.

Community Benefit: Users will benefit from this project as it enables fast learning of material, leading to more academic success. Currently, the only full existing solutions are not open-source and require the NAVY  to pay a fee for usage. Our project provides an all-encompassing no-fee solution to complete the task.
