Florida Atlantic University’s VOCALIS , an ensemble for treble voices, is comprised of students from across the university. Music majors and non-majors alike perform choral standards and new music from all eras and genre. They strive to perform at the highest level and have been invited to perform at the Florida ACDA conference in 2006 and 2017. The ensemble has also been privileged to premier several works including those by McGlynn, Schumacher, and resident composer and collaborative artist David P. Rossow. In Fall 2023, the ensemble will premier and record a new work by Irish composer Michael McGlynn. FAU Vocalis is open through audition to all FAU students.
