Building Futures: Summer Workshop

Civil, Environmental, and Geomatics Engineering 

The Building Futures Summer Workshop, hosted by the Department of Civil, Environmental, and Geomatics Engineering, offers high school students an engaging introduction to civil and environmental engineering. Participants will gain hands-on experience, explore career opportunities, and tackle real-world challenges in environmental engineering, including solid waste management and environmental problem-solving, as well as concrete technologies, covering both traditional methods and modern innovations like 3D printing. 

Workshop Details

The workshop will take place from July 28 to July 31, 2025, at FAU's Boca Raton Campus, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. This free program is open to students in 9th, 10th, and 11th grade, the program is limited to 30 participants.
