Smart Carpool Logistics Software
Overview
The goal of this project is to streamline the student pickup process for schools. Using application registration, license plate recognition software, and a database, students are queued to a pickup area when they arrive at a school. This will help lower traffic congestion and improve safety in school parking lots.
Community Benefit
Safety is a major concern in school carpool systems; without an organized carpool system, the risk of accidents and miscommunications increases due to disorderly pick-up zones and drivers rushing through congested areas. Clear instructions and automated processes reduce these risks, ensuring student safety and lower traffic congestion.
