McClure Road Reconstruction Services

Overview

This project sought to provide a master plan to address the reconstruction and improvements to McClure Road located in the city of Pahokee, Florida. Roadworks Design Consultants were tasked with providing this master plan to address about 2300 ft of roadway. The road had slowly eroded over time and there was dramatic settling and longitudinal cracking. All applicable codes were followed.

 

Community Benefit

This project was a massive benefit for the community in Pahokee Florida, specifically for those who use McClure road every day. Even though it was still accessible, the road was a pain to drive on and was constantly causing issues for the local residents. Through an innovative and enduring plan, Roadworks Design Consultants in coordination with WGI was able to create plans which address not only the poor driving conditions, but also improve some underground utilities for the local residents.
