Ergonomic Mouse with Optical and Gyroscopic Technology (The Squerl)

Overview

Computer mice have remained stagnant in design since their inception: a pointing device which must be moved around on a surface, with your hand flatly on top of the device. This limits the device to hard, flat surfaces, and forces the user in a position that causes damage to your wrist over time. Our device, "The Squerl", seeks to solve both problems synchronously. The design forces the user to keep their wrist vertical, preventing wrist strain and damage, while giving the user access to motion controls, allowing for in-air operation, which greatly expands its usability.
