Elektra: Harmful Brain Activity Classification

Overview

The goal of our project is to create a software application utilizing open source machine learning and deep learning packages to classify EEG signal datasets as seizure, LRDA , GRDA, LPD, GPD, or other for use in medical professional applications.

 

Community Benefit

Currently, classification of EEG signals is done by manual review by professions in the medical field. By utilizing machine learning and deep learning techniques in this software application, this manual process once carried out by professionals may now be done instanteously and reliably by machines.
