Eleanor Baldwin Arena Expansion
Overview
The Eleanor Baldwin Arena, located on the FAU campus in Boca Raton, Florida, has partnered with our team to design a 20,000 sq-ft expansion that includes two new practice courts, modern locker rooms, and expanded office spaces. The primary goal of this project is to provide dedicated, functional spaces to meet the growing demands of FAU’s men’s and women’s basketball teams and the women’s volleyball team. In addition, the expansion aims to achieve LEED Gold certification by incorporating sustainable materials and energy-efficient systems. Our team will ensure that all design elements comply with Florida Building Codes and ASCE standards.
Community Benefit
This project will provide significant benefits to the FAU community, including student-athletes, coaches, and staff. By offering additional practice courts and improved locker room facilities, the expansion will reduce scheduling conflicts and enhance training opportunities. The expanded office spaces will improve operational efficiency for athletic staff, fostering collaboration and productivity.
