The City of Boca Raton East Palmetto Park Roadway Update (Pathfinder Improvements)

Overview

The City of Boca Raton requests for the improvement of East Palmetto Park Road, the scope requests for an increase in walkability and to create a more bicycle-friendly corridor while increasing the aesthetic appeal to match the modern infrastructure. Improving pedestrian and vehicular safety while providing bike lane and reducing vehicle congestion is of main priority.

Community Benefit

This proposal protects cyclists with independent cyclist signal phases, removes cyclist & pedestrian conflicts, removes cyclist & vehicle conflicts, improves the aesthetics of the area, improves walkability, and all while maintaining vehicle congestion. Sufficient signage, lighting, and foliage will be implemented to maintain an environment where pedestrians feel safe and enjoy the commodities downtown Boca Raton offers.
