Vaccine Transport Container

Abstract
The goal of our project is to design and build a vaccine transport container which is capable of maintaining the necessary storage conditions for the new Covid-19 vaccines. It includes a pneumatic damping system to minimize physical damage to the vaccines. Temperature is achieved and maintained with a cylindrical refrigeration system, which increases efficiency. Insulation includes traditional materials, aerogel, and a double wall with a vacuum.
Community Benefit: This container increases the ease of transport for life saving medical treatments which need to be kept at low temperatures such as the Covid-19 vaccines.
