Abstract
Our project involves the design of a 600' X 200' (120,000 sq. ft.) hangar that includes manufacturing space for 600-foot Hydrogen balloons and capsules with an apron attached to airfield pavements. The Hangar will be able to house four Gulfstream 650 business jets. Connected to the hangar will be a 14,000 square foot exhibit center and headquarters for Space Perspective as an interactive and imaginative space with ability to observe the manufacturing process of the Hydrogen balloon and capsules. A foam fire protection system and emergency generator for critical systems will be provided. Community Benefit: Potential to launch from Space Coast Regional airport. Estimated costs in the range of $20 million.
