CODAR DATA
SNMREC has installed and operates CODAR® coastal ocean radar stations that currently cover an area offshore Broward County, Florida. This data is assimilated into the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) operated U.S. Integrated Ocean Observing System (IOOS) Oceanographic High-Frequency Radar (HFR) National Network.
Currents measured by coastal radar can be viewed by location using the IOOS HFRNet online tool.
