SeaTech Robotics Summer Camp
Ocean and Mechanical Engineering
The Ocean and Mechanical Engineering Summer Robotics camp at SeaTech, Dania Beach will introduce students to the fundamentals of drone robotics and autonomous flight. Participants will learn about the basic principles of quadrotor motion, including roll, pitch, yaw, and thrust, and how these relate to flight control. Students will gain hands-on experience programming and flying small drones in a controlled environment, learning how control algorithms translate into real flight behavior. The camp will also include an introduction to drone perception and Visual-Inertial Odometry (VIO), demonstrating how drones estimate their position and navigate autonomously.
