Dr. Sarah Malanowski received her doctorate degree in the Philosophy-Neuroscience-Psychology program from Washington University in St. Louis. She specializes in Philosophy of Cognitive Science, Bioethics, and Philosophy of Games. However, her research spans over and draws influence from many different subfields of philosophy, including philosophy of mind, ethics, and ancient philosophy.  Some of her recent projects involve defending the role of playing video games in the good life and examining the philosophical implications of the GLP-1RA class of weight loss drugs. She is co-authored the book Why it is OK to be a Gamer with Nicholas Baima.
