FAU Virtual Honor Band 2021

FAU Virtual Honor Band nominations are open NOW. Selected high school students will work with FAU music faculty in masterclasses, then perform a new ‘Hollywood’ march with musicians from around the region, conducted via ZOOM by Dr. Kyle Prescott. A video of the performance will be produced and shared.

We will make this EASY for the students and the directors. Starting immediately, directors nominate up to 15 musicians, grades 9-12. To nominate, choose any of these options:

1). Director completes this Google Form with student information and a 1-5 rating of musicianship.

2). Director emails an excel file or a pdf of your roster, highlighting the names of the students you nominate, to faubands@fau.edu We will take it from there.

3). High School students may self-nominate with This Link. Then we will reach out to directors for a recommendation.

Our goal: this should take you less than 15 minutes.
