FAU Ph.D. student Dan Zimmerman has been awarded the prestigious U.S. Department of Defense Science, Mathematics, and Research for Transformation Scholarship.

FAU engineering researchers from the CA-AI have developed a method to automatically detect and remove label noise from data before training begins, resulting in smarter, faster and more reliable AI.

To address critical U.S. Air Force communications needs, FAU engineering's CA-AI has received a $2.1 million grant from the U.S. Department of Defense Air Force Research Laboratory.

The Center for Connected Autonomy and Artificial Intelligence will develop a platform for testing connected AI autonomy, placing FAU as a national leader in next-gen networked AI autonomous systems research.
