IACUC Meeting Dates and Application Deadlines

The new IACUC Novelution submission platform launches  November 17, 2025.

As part of this transition:

• Protocol Submission Deadlines: Effective January 1, 2026, all protocols that include Category D or E procedures must be submitted 6 weeks prior to the next scheduled IACUC meeting date to be included on that meeting agenda.

If you have upcoming new submissions or triennial renewals, please plan accordingly and reach out to IACUC team members with any questions or for guidance on preparing your submission in Novelution.

Note: IACUC protocol applications using USDA Pain Category D & E procedures require full committee review and must meet the application deadline for the monthly meeting. All other applications (using USDA Pain Categories B & C) are eligible for the Designated Member Review process and may be submitted at any time.

Amendments to IACUC protocols requesting to add procedures using USDA Pain Category D & E require full committee review and must meet the application deadline for the monthly meeting. All other amendments may be submitted for review at any time. Please allow at least 4-6 weeks to obtain IACUC approval.

Protocol applications and amendments requiring full committee review submitted after the application deadline will be reviewed at the next monthly meeting.
