minor concentration in Interdisciplinary Health

The Interdisciplinary Health minor was created in collaboration with the College of Nursing 
at FAU. It offers honors students an interdisciplinary exploration of health, illness, and 
wellness through biological, social, and humanistic lenses. This program prepares 
students for careers in healthcare, public health, health policy, and graduate study in the 
health professions.

Students must take the following courses totaling 18 credit hours:

BSC 2085/L  or PCB 3703/L	Honors Anatomy and Physiology 1 with Lab  or Honors Human Morphology and Function 1 with Lab	4 cr
BSC 2086/L  or PCB 3704/L	Honors Anatomy and Physiology 2 with Lab  or Honors Human Morphology and Function 2 with Lab	4 cr
MCB 3020/L	Honors Microbiology with Lab	4 cr
HUN 3207	Honors Human Nutrition and Health	3 cr
DEP 3053	Honors Psychology of Human Development	3 cr
	TOTAL	18 credits

 

At least 75% of all credits required for the minor must be completed at FAU, and at least 
50% of upper-level credits must be from Honors College courses.

Students must earn a C or better in each course taken for the minor.
