Metadata Tagging

Overview

The U.S. Navy possesses a wide array of training tools including videos, documents, and audio files, which all play a crucial role in educations both the teachers and the students.  The primary objective of this project is to effectively categorize these training tools in an efficient organizational way.  To complete this, we aim to generate descriptive metadata tags and concise summaries for each resource.  Implementing this comprehensive system, the categorized and tagged materials will be stored in a robust database, ensuring easy accessibility for students and teachers alike.  This approach empowers these individuals to retrieve information required information swiftly and efficiently.  Through this breakdown of resources into sections and metadata tags , users can access these resources anywhere and at any time.

Community Benefit

Our project will transform Navy training by providing easy access to a wide range of categorized and tagged resources.  This streamlined system will enhance the learning experience and outcome, with a user-friendly interface and a centralized database.  Ultimately, our initiative strengthens the Navy community, equipping its members for personal and professional growth.
