Non-Stop Transportation (NST) Consulting is committed to improving the design of the NW 4th Diagonal and accommodate for existing and future traffic conditions for the City of Boca Raton. Our goal is to develop and maintain a roadway system that provides the safest practical environment for motorists, cyclists, pedestrians, and workers in the Boca Raton area.
Community Benefit
The designed roundabout on NW 4th Diagonal introduces new pedestrian crossings at the corners of NW 4th Diagonal and NW 4th Street, facilitating pedestrian access to the Brightline station at the entry street by incorporating bike ramps and shared paths. Crosswalks ensure a dedicated route for bicyclists around the intersections. Anticipated positive impacts of the roundabout designs include improved traffic flow, reduced fatal car crashes due to decreased speeds, and enhanced aesthetic appeal.
