Under the prudent leadership of Dr Hari Kalva, FAU hosts the 2025 NSF CSR Principal Investigator Meeting. In excess of 40 presentations were introduced along with more than 117 posters being displayed to communicate research ideas in an interactive way.

The director of MLAB Dr Hari Kalva has been inducted into the Florida Inventors Hall of Fame for the year 2025. It is a state-wide initiative dedicated to honoring and celebrating Florida inventors.
