Engineering Scholars Program

Thank you for completing the 2020 Engineering Scholars Program application. In order to complete the application process, please submit all of the additional items to the address listed below no later than Friday, April 3.

Broward County PUBLIC School students who have taken a dual enrollment course at FAU before:

  1. Provide proof of unweighted GPA-an unofficial copy of your high school transcript is fine
  2. Complete the Broward County Public Schools Dual Enrollment/Early Authorization Form

Broward County PUBLIC School students who have NOT taken a dual enrollment course at FAU before:

  1. Complete the FAU High School Dual Enrollment Application (ONLINE) 
  2. Complete the Broward County Public Schools Dual Enrollment/Early Authorization Form
  3. Provide proof of unweighted GPA-an unofficial copy of your transcript is fine
  4. Provide an unofficial copy (with your full name on it) of either your PERT, CPT/Accuplacer, ACT, or SAT scores. We CANNOT accept PSAT scores.

Broward and Palm Beach County PRIVATE, CHARTER, and HOME EDUCATION students who have taken a dual enrollment course at FAU before:

  1. Proof of unweighted GPA-an unofficial copy of your high school transcript is fine
  2. Complete the FAU Dual Enrollment Authorization Form for Non-Public High School Students, Statement of Legal Compliance, and FAU Home Education/Dual Enrollment Articulation Form

Broward and Palm Beach County PRIVATE, CHARTER, and HOME EDUCATION students who have NOT taken a dual enrollment course at FAU before:

  1. Proof of unweighted GPA-an unofficial copy of your high school transcript is fine
  2. Complete the FAU Dual Enrollment Authorization Form for Non-Public High School Students, Statement of Legal Compliance, and FAU Home Education/Dual Enrollment Articulation Form
  3. Provide proof of unweighted GPA-an unofficial copy of your transcript is fine
  4. Provide an unofficial copy (with your full name on it) of either your PERT, CPT/Accuplacer, ACT, or SAT scores. We CANNOT accept PSAT scores.

Palm Beach County PUBLIC School students who have taken a dual enrollment course at FAU before:

  1. Provide proof of unweighted GPA-an unofficial copy of your high school transcript is fine
  2. Complete the Dual Enrollment Palm Beach County Permission and Registration Form 

Palm Beach County PUBLIC School students who have NOT taken a dual enrollment course at FAU before:

  1. Complete the FAU High School Dual Enrollment Application (ONLINE) 
  2. Complete the Dual Enrollment Palm Beach County Permission and Registration Form
  3. Provide proof of unweighted GPA-an unofficial copy of your transcript is fine
  4. Provide an unofficial copy (with your full name on it) of either your PERT, CPT/Accuplacer, ACT, or SAT scores. We CANNOT accept PSAT scores.

Please note:

  • Documents received after April 3 will not be accepted.
  • Submission of all required documents does not guarantee a spot in the Engineering Scholars Program. The application process is competitive.
  • Students will be notified of the selection committee’s decision by Wednesday, April 15.
