Maurice D. Plough Jr.
Maurice D. Plough Jr. is a retired healthcare consultant and longtime community leader dedicated to education, healthcare, and nonprofit service in South Florida. His professional career included geriatric care management, helping families navigate complex healthcare needs and connect with essential medical, legal, and community resources. Plough has a longstanding relationship with Florida Atlantic University, having served on the FAU Foundation Board from 2016 to 2022 and the School of Nursing Advisory Board from 2012 to 2020. He currently serves on the FAU Liberal Arts Advisory Board, the Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine Advisory Board, and as Nursing Advisory Chair for the White Coats Event. He also serves as Chairman of the Jewish Studies Advisory Board. His community leadership includes service on the M.B. Zale Foundation Board, JAFCO Board, where he served as chairman from 2018 to 2023, and the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office South County Board.
