DEBORAH ANN MULLIGAN, MD, FAAP, FACEP

Deborah Ann MulliganDr. Mulligan is a tri-lingual, board-certified pediatric emergency physician and internationally recognized physician executive with more than 25 years of experience spanning academic medicine, health systems, digital health, and entrepreneurship. She is Clinical Affiliate Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at Florida Atlantic University Schmidt College of Medicine and previously founded and led NSU’s Institute for Child Health Policy for 21 years. A pioneer in telehealth and digital health, Dr. Mulligan was founding Chief Medical Affairs Officer of MDLIVE and has advised health systems, policymakers, and technology organizations on healthcare transformation and innovation. She has authored more than 100 peer-reviewed publications, including national standards in pediatric emergency medicine, disaster medicine, and telehealth. Her professional service includes leadership with the American Academy of Pediatrics, American College of Emergency Physicians, Florida AMA, and national advisory organizations. Honors include recognition in the Congressional Record and the Campus Compact Community Engagement Educator Award, presented by First Lady Michelle Obama.
