  • High school seniors applying for admission immediately following graduation
  • High school graduates who have not earned more than 12 college credits after graduation

How to apply

Follow these steps and you will be on your way to completing your FAU application:

1

There are two ways to apply:
Spring applicants must submit the FAU Online Application. Students should only submit one application.

2

Pay the non-refundable $30 application fee

3

Complete and submit your Self-reported Transcript and Student Academic Record (STARS). If you have already graduated from high school and are applying to FAU as a first-year student, please do not submit the STARS. Instead, please ensure that your high school sends us your final official transcript.

4

Self-report your SAT, ACT, or CLT test scores via your Future Owl Portal.
Florida Atlantic University is subject to Florida Board of Governors admissions regulation 6.002, which requires first-year students seeking admission to submit an ACT, CLT, or SAT test score.

Nursing applicants and applicants who have already graduated high school must submit official test scores (instead of self-reported scores). Official test scores must be ordered directly from the College Board (SAT), ACT, or CLT testing agencies. To submit official test scores, visit the following websites:

Note: Meeting minimum eligibility requirements does not guarantee admission.
