ACCUPLACER Remote Testing
The ACCUPLACER is accepted for FAU High School programs. If you have any questions regarding what exam to take please contact your respective program advisor before registering for an exam.
The Accuplacer Remote Placement testing is for FAU High Applicants ONLY. Students will schedule virtual appointments via RegisterBlast and tests will be proctored remotely by Testing Center staff. Students will take the Accuplacer remotely using WebEx Meeting Vido Chat using their own Internet-connected device (cell phones are not allowed). Details about this exam, how to make appointments, and scheduling processes are outlined below.

$11.50 - Accuplacer- 1 Section Only - 45 minutes total
$23.50 - Accuplacer - 2 Sections Only - 90 minutes total
$23.50 - WritePlacer Only - 45 minutes total
$33.50 - Accuplacer- ALL 3 Sections - 2 1/2 hours total
$43.50 - Accuplacer (3 Sections) PLUS WritePlacer - 3 hours total
Students must pace themselves when testing and NO breaks are allowed during testing so please take care of all personal needs before testing begins. Proctor will only give a 5 minute warning before the testing time expires. If taking multiple sections, procotor will give warning at 45 minutes intervals, with a final 5 minute warning given before testing time expires.
You must login 15 minutes prior to your testing time. Please be prompt. No late logins will be allowed.
All testing fees are non-refundable, non-transferable and the test may not be rescheduled.
The timing is 45 minutes per section and 2 1/2 hours if you are taking all 3 sections at one sitting.
You must wait 2 weeks before re-taking the ACCUPLACER test. DAY 1 BEGINS THE DAY AFTER YOUR TEST DATE. Scores will not be considered valid unless 2 weeks have passed.
Reprint of Official score reports -$11.50 each
FAU High program limits taking each section of the Accuplacer twice and, both the Accuplacer and WritePlacer are required.

WebEX Requirements
All exams are continuously monitored by video and audio recording The Test Center Staff is authorized to dismiss you from the test session for a violation of any of the Test Center Regulations.
What to Bring
A Non-Expired Photo ID, FROM THE LIST BELOW, is required OF THE TEST TAKER, no matter the age must be presented prior to testing. NO EXCEPTIONS. You will not test without a valid, non-expired PHOTO ID from the list below. The TEST TAKER'S photo ID must match exactly the name you used when registering. IE: Double or hyphenated last names. If the ID that you are using on test day has 2 last names, then you MUST register using BOTH last names
Listed below are the ONLY acceptable forms of test taker's photo identification (no photocopies accepted or pictures presented on phones accepted):
NO SCHOOL IDS
Hoodies, sweaters, jackets, coats or outerwear are NOT permitted in the testing rooms. It is suggested to dress accordingly (long sleeves) or you may not be permitted to test.
