ecome a Nurse in 16 months with FAU Accelerated BSN
Already have a bachelor's degree? Start your path to a nursing career with the Accelerated BSN track at Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing. Designed for students who already hold a bachelor's degree in another field, the Accelerated BSN track provides a fast pathway to a nursing career. The program is offered in Davie in the spring and in Boca Raton and Davie in the fall. Applications for Spring 2027 are open through July 31, 2026! Learn more about the Accelerated BSN track:
CAI 2603 Applications of Artificial Intelligence
Offered by the College of Engineering and Computer Science, this course provides an accessible overview of the field of artificial intelligence (AI), with emphasis on contemporary techniques, practical applications, and real-world impact across multiple industries. Students will explore major areas of AI, including machine learning, generative AI, agentic systems, computer vision, natural language processing, and medical diagnosis. The course broadens participants’ understanding of AI foundations, risks, applications, ethical considerations, and societal implications. Through hands-on activities and applied projects, students will gain practical experience using AI tools to solve problems and support decision-making. Guest speakers from multiple sectors will share real-world insights on how AI is transforming their industries and shaping the future of work.
