RideShare Tips
Planning to use a rideshare service is a great harm reduction technique! Consider using a rideshare or designated sober driver. If you choose to use a rideshare, utilize the SAMI Method: Stop and review safety features Ask - “What’s my name” - confirm the driver name is also the same as listed in the app Match the license plate and display Inform - share details of the ride with a friend or family member When utilizing rideshare services, be smart and stay safe. Report any safety issues and concerns, use your intuition, and use the buddy system.
