Spring 2025 Commencement Ceremonies

Congratulations, Class of 2025!

The Spring 2025 ceremonies will be held on Thursday, May 1, Friday, May 2, and Saturday, May 3. Each Commencement Ceremony will last approximately two hours, and will be located at the Carole and Barry Kaye Performing Arts Auditorium in the Student Union on the Boca Raton Campus.

Degree candidates should report to the Live Oak Pavilion 1 hour before the beginning of the ceremony. The Live Oak Pavilion is located across from Parking Garage 1 and can also be accessed through the Student Union. For further directions, please use the campus map.

Guests are strongly encouraged to arrive early and allow for adequate time to park and pass through the security screening. Doors to the auditorium open 1 hour ahead of the ceremony.

Summer Parking e-Permit Availability

Welcome to the Summer 2025 Semester! Summer 2025 parking ePermits for students will be available starting May 7.

Click the button below and follow the prompts to register. License plate numbers serve as the vehicle identifier (license plates do not have the letter “O” only number “0”), so please be sure all information is correct to avoid receiving a citation. You are allowed up to two vehicles per permit, but only one vehicle may be parked on campus at a time. For more information, visit FAU Parking and Transportation Services.

2025 Summer Parking Closures Notification

Construction will occur on Parking Garage 3 and Parking Lots 22 and 23 throughout the upcoming summer.

Parking Garage 3 will be closed beginning Thursday, May 1, and is expected to re-open by Saturday, Aug. 16. Parking Lot 22 will be closed beginning Saturday, May 3, and is expected to re-open by Saturday, Aug. 9. Parking Lot 23 will be closed beginning May 3 and is expected to re-open by Aug. 16.



$$ Need Money to Buy Books? $$

The SUMMER 2025 Short Term Advancement Application is now open.

Are you short of funds to buy textbooks? Do you need emergency funds because of unanticipated living expenses? Apply for the Short Term Advance online from via MyFAU. Go to the Money Matters tile, then Short Term Advance. Students may borrow up to $750 for purchasing textbooks, other educational expenses, or unanticipated living expenses.

Annual Notification of Alcohol and Other Drug Information

Florida Atlantic is committed to providing a campus environment free from alcohol abuse and illegal use of alcohol and other drugs. FAU adopted and implemented programs that seek to prevent the illicit use of drugs and alcohol abuse by university community members. FAU distributes a semesterly notification to all students, faculty and staff policies related to alcohol, other drugs, and weapons. It can be found at the link below. Summer 2025 Community Creative Writing Workshop

The Creative Writing Program is excited to offer our summer 2025 community creative writing workshop, “Speculative Fiction.” This workshop will take place on Tuesday evenings from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. on the Boca Raton Campus from May 12 – July 1
