In accordance with Palm Beach County Emergency Order 20-012 and Broward County Emergency Order 20-21, all patients coming to FAU Student Health Services are required to wear face coverings.  At this time, we are unable to permit visitors other than patients in the clinic, including in the waiting room.


Walk-Up COVID-19 Testing for FAU Students, Faculty and Staff

Boca Raton Student Health Services offers walk-up COVID-19 testing for asymptomatic individuals (FAU students, faculty and staff) Thursday through Monday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. in the Owls Care Classroom (Building 8, Room 222A). Individuals with symptoms are not permitted to have testing at the walk-up site unless they have been referred by a member of the FAU SHS clinical team.


No-Cost Flu Vaccines for FAU Students

FAU Student Health Services has no-cost flu vaccines available for all students. Please call your campus clinic to arrange for a convenient appointment or come to our next Boca campus walk-in vaccine clinic on Tuesday, October 27 from 2-4 p.m. in Building 8, Room 222A (second floor Breezeway, above the food court).


No-Cost Influenza Vaccines for FAU Faculty and Staff

FAU Student Health Services is happy to once again be able to provide no-cost influenza vaccines to FAU faculty and staff.

Please check the schedule below for your campus, especially any special instructions.

Due to the COVID-19 situation, SHS is unable to provide flu vaccines to spouses, partners or dependents of FAU faculty and staff. Please bring your Owl Card and insurance card.

Student Health Services Offers Telehealth Services

FAU SHS is excited to offer telehealth services also known as “virtual visits” to our eligible students. These virtual visits can be related to acute issues and follow-up of existing medical conditions. Please call FAU SHS at 561-297-3512 to learn more.


Student Health Services - Status of Operations

FAU Student Health Services will operate with modified hours and services until further notice.

All Campuses:

  • Testing Tuesday has been suspended.
  • At this time, we will be limiting the number of appointments for routine visits such as physicals, birth control and flu shots.
  • If you are feeling sick, we encourage you to call our Boca Raton clinic so that our medical team can assess your needs to best care for you.


Davie Campus:

  • Clinical services on the Davie campus are available on Wednesdays and Fridays. Please obey signage when coming to the clinic.


Jupiter Clinic:

  • Clinical services on the Jupiter campus are available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Please obey signage when coming to the clinic.


Boca Raton Clinic:

  • Saturday clinics have been suspended.
  • The Boca Raton clinic is open Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.
  • A number of telehealth options are available for medical and nutrition consultations. Please call us for more information.
  • Dental Clinic: Open for emergencies and some elective dental procedures.

Nutrition Services at FAU Student Health Services

We are excited to offer nutrition services through Student Health Services at the Boca campus. Students can see a registered dietitian for individual consultations that address an array of nutrition topics, including balanced eating, disordered eating concerns, weight management, diabetes and pre-diabetes, sports nutrition, mindful/intuitive eating, food allergies and intolerances, vegan/vegetarian diet, and others. To schedule an appointment with the registered dietitian, call 561-297-3512. A number of insurances are accepted and self-pay options are available.


No-Show Fee

A no-show fee of $25 will be charged to patients who do not show up for their appointment and who have not called to cancel.
