C.elegans in Situ
A tiny worm, transparent thread,
teaches how the body ages, how cells are led.
Molecular clocks tick silent and slow,
genes of longevity whisper what they know.
In situ, we watch the glow decline,
signaling shifts along fragile time.
Pathways of insulin, stress, and repair,
trace the arc of life lived fair.
Though brief its span, the lessons ring—
from C. elegans, we learn what time brings.
In its short journey, vast truths reside,
on how all creatures live and age, and bide.
