Dear Incoming Medical Student:

Congratulations on your decision to attend the Schmidt College of Medicine! We are excited you are going to be part of the FAU family! Get ready because Orientation week will be here before you know it!

This will be your "go to site" for important Class of 2028 Orientation and Compliance information. Your Student Affairs family is here to support, guide and assist you with any questions that you may have and help make your transition to the College of Medicine a success.

Our Orientation Week will allow you to get to know more about the Schmidt College of Medicine, meet your classmates, faculty, staff and deans, and hear about the resources available to you as an FAU medical student.

On the final day of Orientation, August 2, you will be formally welcomed into the field of medicine at the White Coat Ceremony.

In the meantime, please review the Orientation links on this page. It is your responsibility to use the provided Orientation Checklist to ensure that all forms are turned in, all fees are paid, and all deadlines are met.

We encourage you to visit this page often for updates and additions before Orientation Week. We will e-mail you to let you know of any additions that may require your immediate attention.

We look forward to working with you over the next few months to ensure that your transition to medical school is as smooth as possible. If you have questions, concerns, or feedback, please feel free to contact the Office of Student Affairs.

Welcome, and Go Owls!
