Financial Aid Disbursement Estimator

This tool helps you estimate how much financial aid may be applied (disbursed) to your account and what you may still need to pay the University.

When the University processes your actual financial aid disbursement, several factors could change the final amount, including residency status, grade level, meeting Satisfactory Academic Progress, and whether you’ve completed all outstanding requirements.

Also, other charges or credits not shown in this estimate may be added to your account later — for example, Housing, Meal Plans, parking or library fines, Florida Prepaid, or tuition waivers.

Important
This estimate does not guarantee or finalize your financial aid disbursement. It is meant to give you a preview based on your current information, including enrollment and financial aid status. The actual amounts may differ, and the results here are not binding on Florida Atlantic University.

How to Access the Estimator:

  1.  Sign in through myFAU using your FAU credentials.
  2.  Select FAU Self-Service.

  • Financial aid funds are disbursed after the drop/add deadline, typically during the second or third week of the semester. These funds are applied directly to your FAU account balance
  • Students with accepted financial aid have a deferred payment deadline for any remaining balance. If your financial aid exceeds your charges, the remaining amount will be issued to you as a refund .
