MLAB Members Congregate for Dr Hari Kalva's Induction Ceremony

In honour of Dr Hari Kalva's exemplary achievements in the field of visual computing along with innumerable contributions to multimedia communication, the Florida Inventors Hall of Fame initiative recognized him as an inductee for year 2025 alongside other prominent inventors whose work have significantly improved the quality of life for all Americans. In view of this celebration, MLAB members congregated to show unwavering support at the induction ceremony held at Water Street, Tampa, FL.
The event began with a reception ceremony where guests were offered appetizers and beverages, thus acting as an ice-breaker. In addition, active photographers around the venue filmed moments of attendees conversing and sharing laughter. As the event took place during Halloween, guests were seen flaunting extravagant costumes and masks, hence making the ceremony a fashionable affair. Soon followed the actual induction ceremony in an embellished auditorium, where videos depicting each inventor's story were played sequentially, making the atmosphere inspirational for the hosts and guests alike. This event not only marked a milestone in Dr Kalva's research journey, but also encouraged young members of MLAB to aspire and dream. Perhaps, one day they can become inventors that impact people's lives in a positive way. The entire team of Multimedia Lab is elated and feels priviledged to be under the prudent mentorship of Dr Hari Kalva.
