Congratulations on your acceptance to Florida Atlantic University! Now that you are part of the FAU family, take time to review the list of requirements for new students.

There are several steps you must complete in order to finalize the acceptance process before you can register for classes. Log into owldone.fau.edu. Access and complete the admitted student step.

Important: Your admission to FAU is for a specific semester and you must enroll during that term. If you need to change your start term, you can submit a Change of Entry Request through your Future Owl Portal .  Applications are valid for three consecutive terms (one year).  To submit your request, please scroll approximately halfway down your application status page and click the red “Request Update to Starting Entry Term” button.  
                                             * Please note that submitting this form does not guarantee admission to the new term. 


If you have administrative holds, these should be cleared up prior to registering for classes. You can check your holds by logging in to MyFAU account. A hold put on by a specific department can only be removed by that department.

  • Admissions Holds: Visit the Davie office in LA-112 or contact the Office of Admissions at 561-297-3040.
  • Advising Holds: Contact your academic advisor to inquire about any advising holds. To make an advising appointment, please visit https://www.fau.edu/successnetwork and schedule an appointment via the Navigate platform. For more detailed instructions, please see this guide on how to schedule an appointment.
  • Registration Holds: Visit the Davie office in LA-110 , call the Registrar’s Office at 954-236-1010 or email registrar@fau.edu .
  • Immunization Holds: Contact the Immunizations Office at 954-236-1236 or email immunizationadmin@health.fau.edu. More information can be found at https://www.fau.edu/immunization .
  • International Student Holds: Visit or contact the International Student Services Office at 561-297-3049
  • Orientation Holds: Contact the orientation office at 561-297-2733 or email orientme@fau.edu
