Our primary mission is to be a source of academic support for students. The Schmidt College of Science Advising Services Office assists science majors in the following ways:
  • New transfer student advising
  • Freshman advising for students planning a career in the health professions
  • Advising for course selection and degree completion, advising for students encountering academic difficulty
  • Referrals for helpful on-campus support services

Apply for the WLW ECOS Student Success Scholarships
The new School of Environmental, Coastal, and Ocean Sustainability received a substantial gift that supports scholarships for undergraduate students pursuing degrees or research studies with an environmental focus that provides $7,500 in awards. Thanks to the donation we also now have $5,000 scholarships for the Semester by the Sea program. The scholarships are available for students to take advantage of this Fall 2024 semester.
