Dr. Melgarejo's research focuses on 20th and 21st century French Literature and Culture. Her areas of interest include Francophone Poetry and Visual Imagery, Landscape and Art representation, Foreign Language Pedagogy, Latin American Culture and Politics. Prior to joining the Honor's College, Dr. Melgarejo held the position of Professor of French and Spanish at St. Cloud State University in Minnesota.
