Welcome to the Graduate College at Florida Atlantic University!
As Dean, I invite you to view the Graduate College and this site as your primary resource for graduate education at Florida Atlantic University. We serve students in doctoral, specialist, master’s, and dual-degree programs across the university. Whether you are exploring programs, applying, currently enrolled, supporting graduate students as faculty or staff, or engaging with our graduate community, the Graduate College is a central hub for guidance and support. With more than 6,000 degree-seeking students and over 130 graduate programs, Florida Atlantic offers a vibrant community of scholars.
Florida Atlantic is designated by Carnegie as an R1 university (Very High Research Spending and Doctorate Production), and graduate students are central to our research and scholarly mission. Graduate study represents a transition from primarily consuming knowledge to generating new knowledge in your field. While challenging, this work can be immensely rewarding. The Graduate College is committed to providing student-centered support to faculty-led graduate education. We support students from admission through degree completion and partner with colleges and programs to holistically strengthen recruitment, expand student support, and promote timely progress to graduation.
If you need assistance, we are here to help. Visit us on the Boca Raton campus in the Student Support Services Building (SU-80), Suite 101, or contact Graduate Admissions at gcadmissions@fau.edu or 561-297-3624. Additional contact information is available on our Contact Us page.
Sincerely,
Robert Stackman, Jr., Ph.D.
