About Us

The MUREP Aerospace Academy (MAA) for Engaging Future Explorers in South Florida with Grades 6-12 NASA STEM Education project by FAU faculty aligns with the objectives and goals of NRA (NASA Research Announcement) and MUREP. The project has partnership with local middle and high schools with a total enrollment of over 3,300 predominantly underserved and underrepresented students. The students will complete a minimum of 36 hours of high-quality STEM activities during both in-school and after-school hours with science content from the NASA Education mission directorates (NASA Education 2018): Aeronautics Research, Human Exploration and Operations Mission Directorate, Science, and Space Technology.
