Welcome Cohort 5 (Fall 2025 - Summer 2026)

On August 20, 2025, we proudly welcomed Cohort 5 of our NRT students!

Leading up to this milestone, students began the week of August 11th with a series of bootcamps and required trainings designed to build a strong foundation for success. They completed AI for Cybersecurity, GenAI for Learning and Student Success, and Practical Computing. These preparatory sessions are essential in equipping trainees with the knowledge and skills needed for a strong start in the program.

Cohort 5 brings together a vibrant mix of talent, consisting of eight funded students and two non-funded students, all of whom will earn certificates upon successful completion of the NRT courses. We are once again delighted to welcome a diverse group, representing fields such as Mathematical Sciences, Biological and Physical Sciences, Philosophy, Applied Science in Supervision and Management, Electrical Engineering, and Computer Science.

We are excited to see the innovative ideas, research contributions, and professional growth that will emerge from this outstanding cohort. The future looks bright for Cohort 5!
