Artificial Intelligence Vocational, Instructional, and Business Expo (V.I.B.E.)

On March 14th, 2025, NRT trainees participated in the Artificial Intelligence Vocational, Instructional, and Business Expo (V.I.B.E.), an event organized by The South Florida Education Center. The expo attracted high school and college students interested in AI’s impact on the workforce, as well as educators dedicated to preparing students for future careers. The event featured a range of activities, including keynote speakers, panel discussions, roundtable conversations, a business expo, and hands-on demos and exhibits.

The NRT trainees played an active role by designing informative brochures about AI and sharing their expertise with the curious students who approached their table. Attendees explored various rooms to learn about new AI methods, materials, and technologies. Our department chair, Dr. Hari Kalva, contributed to the roundtable discussions, and several former NRT trainees presented their research as well.
